Hello again,
Well that seemed to have got your attention.
The objective of the posting was to provoke positive thought at a time when everyone seems hell bent on destroying a 300 year old service, unfortunately some of the rules and restrictions are nearly that old as well.
Just by way of answering some of the misconcieved assumptions, no I am not management, nor an ex public school boy, but yes I did have a good education.
I am a postman out in all winds and weathers, rain hail or snow. Mostly rain recently.
But now back to the real issue, you all work with some people who go sick at the mere thought of a sneeze, and others who go to the bog as soon as there is any real work to be done, you are already doing thier job for them and the company has to pay you as well as them, does that make economical sense ?
Allow the company to get rid of the dross, mechanise, modernise, move on accept the change, and the company will be a better place for all of those who are prepared to earn a living within ROYAL MAIL if you won't or can't accept change then we won't have jobs to go to for much longer.
Dinosaurs were unable to adapt to change..................
Did you see one recently ?
Please accept this posting as my personal view, no offence is intended to anyone.
