hi there,
I sent some paperwork using your special next day delivery (guaranteed before 13:00) service on 31st of March. It was sent from London to Liverpool. When I check the status from royalmail web site it says:
"Your item with reference ZI********6GB is currently progressing through our network.
Your item is currently progressing through our network for delivery.
To check your item's progress please come back later."
What does this mean, is the item lost? I thought the delivery next day (1st of April, which is not a bank holiday) was guaranteed; can you please help me understand what's going on?

Could be because it went out for delivery with a postman who would not of been using a PDA to confirm delivery. It would of been done the old fashioned way using pen & paper. Until this is returned to the office & scanned into the system it is more than likely to be showing progressing through the system.
