 Yes-and towards the end of this interview,,he was almost giving in again. Why say the Union was not blameless in this dispute? Still too much sitting on the fence ---

It was an attempt to appeal to the masses to see the Union as amenable and open to criticism . A kind of we accept we are not perfect but look what's happening to my members, trying to put us back into the good view of the public. Good timing with the leaks and casuals but whether it will work or not is questionable.

He was on Sky News later on this evening and was as dull as ever, I don't think I have seen a human being with so little facial expression or enthusiasm for the task - he seemed to think that calling in ACAS is the Holy Grail - when I don't see that ACAS are going to bring anything to the table that isn't already there. RM and the Government are determined to destroy the union and pave the way for privatisation.

Billy has never had the bottle for the fight, I think he has been forced into the ballot against his political judgement and wants it over with as quickly as possible. He sees ACAS as the get out clause if things go pear shaped - someone to share or even take all the blame - but he should know that we are not going to be conned by another 2007 Agreement.

Billy's style is a wait and see one so he'll pull his punches - i.e. " after the General Election , we'll get rid of " Cyclops " , good old Jon Cruddas will be part of a dream ticket , Mandy will be shunted off somewhere , we have to fight back and take back control of the party " etc , etc , etc - er yeah right

He's a natural Labourite , he'd rather have his arm cut off or his supply of pies confiscated than rock the boat too much - I think with Jane Loftus - it was " promote the Trot to neutralize her " : :hmmmm :hmmmm

. Mandy's agenda is Europe , Europe and their undemocratic & unaccountable directives & appeasing Big Business lobbying power so New Labour won't initially get blamed for it - he's got a big EEC pension riding on it .

The heat needs turning up on Mandy - he's hated by everyone , Red , Purple , Yellow or Blue :hmmmm & Crozier has been quiet because he knows he'll get slaughtered for his salary .
