Bristol MC tracked 24 item stuck

Hi there, my tracked 24 parcel has been stuck at Bristol MC for a week - as the recepient, is there any good way i can either collect from the MC or ask royal mail to help?

I understand the sender is meant to do this, but they are unresponsive so hoping there is something i can do.

What does the tracking say? Was it scanned at MC and disappeared or does it go through the machine and is scanned every day and is not moving further? Small or big parcel?

You can't collect from MC.

Says
Your item has reached Bristol MC and will now be sent to your local delivery office.

then nothing, no scans. I went to my local delivery office just in case and they dont have it.

In that case, can be lost anywhere in MC and it would be difficult to find. There's also possibility that it was damaged. I asked about size, becasue I've seen parcels falling under the sorting machines or being stuck in trolleys and staying there until someone finds them.

I'm afraid, you may have to ask seller to chase it and open claim when it doesn't arrive any time soon.

Thanks for the info, its really helpful. Unfortunately since providing the tracking number the seller is not responding , but its not very valuable so i'll just suck up the loss if they wont do anything i guess.
Thanks again for the help, its useful to know at least there isnt anything else i can do :)
