Re: SD Sat 1PM - item not moved in 3 days
South Mids MC manages numerous direct deliveries to large companies, government departments, and various organizations. If you've sent a letter to one of these recipients, it has likely arrived, but the Royal Mail's tracking system may take several days to update. Furthermore, the company or department may not have updated their internal systems yet.
As for Special Delivery items, they are stored in a locked cage with limited access. Every individual who handles these items is required to sign for them. While there is a very small chance of these items going missing, the risk is minimal.

Re: SD Sat 1PM - item not moved in 3 days
I'd be willing to bet this is an item destined to HMRC. In which case, it;s very common for the tracking to be a total failure.
