Hello
I had a parcel in my office awaiting collection by DHL. A Royal Mail person came to collect a different parcel, but picked up my DHL one instead. It had a DHL label on, destined for Hong Kong.
I've contacted Customer Services several times in the past week, and spoken to the (very friendly) team in the Farringdon Depot, and have been given four different answers so far:
- 1. It's coming back to the office
- 2. It's going to Hong Kong
- 3. It's going to DHL (but no-one is able to tell me when this might happen)
- 4. It's lost forever
The item in the package is worth £500, and I don't seem to be able to get any idea of timeframe or what might actually happen to it.
I'm not blaming anyone, I just really want to know where the parcel is and how I gt it back, or it gets to DHL, given the value.
Does anyone have any ideas or advice?

As it is not a Royal Mail parcel, there should be no way we can track it on our systems, as it's a different format for each firm.
Mt best advice is to contact DHL directly, or try one of their tracking sites. It may be that they can assist or even be able to confirm they have it.

Thank you. DHL say there's nothing they can do (they don't have the parcel). It seems at the moment, no-one knows where the parcel is.

It may be sitting in revenue protection in your local mail centre.
