Letter to HMRC stuck at North West Midlands MC
Paid £4.50 on 10/03/25 at my local Post Office for tracking and signature on delivery in 2 - 3 days and tracking says my letter has reached North West Midlands MC "and will now be sent to your local delivery office"
It doesn't look as though my letter will reach the tax office by 5th April 2025!

A lot of bg government departments - like the Tax office do not have direct mail deliveries by a Postman from a delivery office.
Most of them have bulk deliveries once per day direct from a Mail centre - it's possible if the Tax office you are sending the letter to is in the Midlands then the NW Midlands MC is the one delivering it.
So it may well have been delivered, despite the message about the delivery office. Also with the amount of items the tax offices get it can take a while for the system to catch up with the delivered notifications.
