Hi,
I thought I would ask some incredibly knowledgeable people on here for some help. I ordered an item from a supplier on eBay who sent it out on Thursday 12th December guaranteed by 1pm next day delivery.
However tracking details have it as delivered and signed for - I guarantee it hasn't been! It looks like the item was signed for/scanned at North West Midlands MC. There is photo and a signature which isn't mine (3am in the morning?!). Is this normal? Now there are no further tracking details available, why would they scan it as delivered? Is this to hit the "by 1pm" target? It means I have no way of tracking it's progress any further. Does it look like there has been a mistake and is the parcel likely to be lost? I need to know as it's a valuable christmas present and I may need to claim my money back soon to be able to look elsewhere.

Hi, yes, we are not too far, Lichfield. But I just find it strange that tracking ends at the MC and to all intents and purposes, the seller and buyer are to assume it's been delivered.

Normally when tracking ends at a MC it's when an item is going to a firm that gets lots of mail, which either get a delivery direct from the MC or they collect their mail direct from the MCEdwardEvans606 wrote: ↑14 Dec 2024, 17:32Hi, yes, we are not too far, Lichfield. Yeah, I thought that from my research. This is just a domestic delivery from a business to a home address. Very strange. I'll have to put a claim in for a refund, because it's a Christmas present and I really cannot wait. Thank you for answering.
