Parcel seems stuck in Coventry

Hi there.

I posted two parcels to Australia from Gibraltar mail post office on 14th May 2024. Its now 28th June. Using the tracking software all I get is:

5/20/2024 8:57 AM Arrival at transit office of exchange COVENTRY PF

and the other only seems to have left Gibralter yesterday.

Whats happening here. How long before I should be worried about their delivery.

2 Things to note.

1. It looks like Gibraltar misrouted your parcel. When that happens it sometimes stops tracking and registering scans altogether.

2. The good thing to note is the Coventry PF is the International hub for parcel force so it has most likely been routed to Australia as intended but because of no 1 there is no tracking.

Keep an eye on Auspost tracking https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/search to see if it turns up there.

As to the two items on one tracking number, there's not much we can help with there you'll need to speak to Gibraltar Post to sort that one out.

Thanks for responding to my query.
Both parcels have appeared on the Australia Post site. Although it says for both parcels that they are still in Gibraltar whereas the Royal mail site says they are in Coventry.

all it says is

Cleared and awaiting international departure

I'm heartened by the fact that one of them moved from Gibralter to Coventry on 26th May so at least it is still in the system.

I guess all we can do is wait.

Again thanks for taking an interest in my parcels.

Current news is that they have both seem to be united and are currently in Brisbane Australia awaiting clearance.

They both checked in within a minute of each other about 12 hours ago.

I suspect they won't get cleared over the weekend but with a bit of luck we may be able to give out some presents next week.

So It looks like all is looking good. I just hope clearance is carried out quickly.
