Inbound Item At Langley HDWC for 6 weeks?

Post by jamieleeroth »

Hi all
I know there’s a mountain of Langley HWDC posts here but most of them seem to be after a week/2 week delay and then never follow up if they have/havent received their item or they’re from 2020 and 2021 and COVID is being blamed for the delay

My item LH209680694US was received on 1st Nov and it’s now 13th Dec. USPS are saying they held up their end of the bargain and as its arrived in UK they’ve done their duty. Royal Mail say as they haven’t had it yet they can’t do anything.

I can understand delays but 6 weeks for 2 T-shirts seems a bit much? I can’t really accept Covid as a reason for a delay in November 2023 either. These were intended as Xmas presents and I thought buying them 2 months in advance would yield no problems. Ha!

Any advice on this?

6 weeks in customs isn't unusual.

Update to this

USPS tracking now says it in BRAZIL???

Royal Mail states still at Langley.

It’s coming to Essex why would it be transferred from the UK back there??

2 possibilities - Human error in the sorting of it. I really hope its this.

Or a possible scam/mistake where the sender has sent out 2 parcels with the same tracking number.

I think the first is most likely. If it is then Brazil post will eventually send it back to either the US or the UK.

6 weeks on from this post and still no further forward. USPS are saying it being in Brazil is nothing to do with them, despite this only showing on their site and not mentioned on Royal Mail tracking …

It's possible that when it arrived in Brazil and cleared customs in Brazil that went it was sent on to the UK they might have sent it via surface mail so it might be on a ship somewhere en-route to the UK
