Hi All,
Yesterday I printed off three Tracked 48 labels and opted to stick them in the postbox (no receipt required) which I did this morning. Then about an hour ago I had to print off another 4 T48 labels which had to be dropped off at the post office - it was only then that it was pointed out that none of the labels have barcodes or QR codes and that they couldn’t accept them. Thinking back I’m pretty sure that the three I posted this morning didn’t have barcodes either - so my question is what will happen to these parcels? Will they use the tracking number or will they be returned to me?

Please could you post a photo of an example here, just so we can see what we are looking at.
It may be the case that all items are delivered, but there would be no scanning at various points along the way or on the doorstep ?
Many thanks.

Re: Tracked 48 missing barcodes
The parcels need a tracking barcode number as the parcels themselves are physically scanned.AmigaOne wrote: ↑07 Aug 2023, 12:34Hi All,

Given the information you gave us it is more than likely they will be surcharged and they will send the recipient a grey card. If that's unpaid they will be returned to sender.
My advice contact the recipients advise them what happened and offer to reimburse them any costs they incur.
Also, it's a good idea if you are selling online to keep a record of tracking numbers so if something like this happens again at least you know which packets are affected and it's also a good way to confirm all the details are correct and everything is good to go.
