I live in the Perth area and I've found a royal mail ID card on my path, it appeared in the span of 10 minutes while I was gone to the shops, and for love nor money I couldn't find the postie, I did a run around my local area and no sign.
Unfortunately, all the helplines and my Local depot seem to be closed, Who should I contact about this when they reopen?

Re: I've found a royal mail ID card.
I would take it to your local delivery office when it's open.

You could leave an envelope on your doorstep just before the postman arrives, saying where you have hidden the ID card for him/her to collect.
Or hand it in to the next post-person that you see either on foot or in a van.
I'm sure that they would recognise the name on the ID badge and return.
Thank-you for your honesty.

Most of the local Post Box collections are made by the same office that does the deliveries so if nothing else works just drop it not a post box, don't even put it in an envelope. It will get back to the postie eventually.tmactavish wrote: ↑10 Dec 2022, 13:00I live in the Perth area and I've found a royal mail ID card on my path, it appeared in the span of 10 minutes while I was gone to the shops, and for love nor money I couldn't find the postie, I did a run around my local area and no sign.
