Hello,
On 08 October 2022, I ordered some PS3 games from Australia. On the 20th the package containing them was tracked by the AusPost as having passed through Heathrow Airport. So far, nothing unusual. Then, to my horror, today the Royal Mail's tracking service posts an update on the package this morning stating the following:
"Item is being prepared for re-export in order to return it to the sender."
The Auspost Tracking Number, which is bringing-up that message on the Royal Mail Tracking service, is LK157930173AU
I cannot understand why the Royal Mail would do this. The item is under the value of £135 making it exempt from VAT or Duty. Royal Mail have not sent me a grey card, or an update that there was any issue in customs etc.
It's seemingly passed through customs fine, and then Royal Mail are sending it back?!
