I've sent an item using special delivery on 8th of August and its now 11th.
the last tracking shows:

i've already called royal mail CS they said its not lost which i'm not sure.
so guys from your experience do you think this item is likely to be lost??

To give an insightful response we would need more information such as the tracking number and contents.
However, I would guess at present you have sent a passport - if so then it's not lost as the MCs will be responsible for delivering 1000s of these items daily, and the system takes some time to update. As does the passport office. Generally, they tend to update within a week or so.
