Stuck at Langley
I posted a parcel on the 3rd December at 3 30pm. By 3.45 am it was cleared and awaiting a flight to Australia. However this is as far as the parcel has got. I take it that despite the Covid updates stating there is only a problem with mail into Victoria Australia , its probably just sitting there winding the clock down until it gets sold at auction and I may get a sorry letter.

Re: Stuck at Langley
Why have you come onto this forum with the clear intent of just throwing stones? Have you actually considered that your parcel it out of RM's hands? In fact, RM have would have had no direct control of it once it hit outbound customs, unless it was rejected.DaveAC wrote: ↑18 Dec 2021, 18:33I posted a parcel on the 3rd December at 3 30pm. An Official Royal Mail contact point.
We are not that, we are a Postie forum in the main, we added a Customer forum so we could give advice, and we do ask Customers to remain polite to the people who voluntarily post in this section.
In that light https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app ... t-bulletin
Also, as the last date for Australia was 6 Dec (2 working days after you sent it) https://www.royalmail.com/christmas/last-posting-dates there is still time for it to arrive.Latest Update
Australian Post has updated that a further COVID case has been detected at the Melbourne Office of Exchange overnight. Mail operation is currently disrupted due to the measures imposed by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
As a result, operations for all inbound mail via Melbourne during this period will be affected, while the Offices of Exchange in Brisbane and Sydney continue to process mail items at this time, subject to previously announced COVID restrictions.

Re: Stuck at Langley
My apologies if I have upset forum members. The item I posted contains some wall decorations. Our friend in Australia was involved in a life changing car accident earlier in the year. The decorations are of no great value only that they will be of great help therapeutically in her recovery. Tracking ref LG674893559GB.
