Hi
I am based in Ireland I was expecting to receive a package that was sent from the US via USPS early August.
When I track the item it reached Ireland late in July it was then sent back for some reason. The last scan was in the London Heathrow Transit Centre on 3rd August. There have been no more scans since then, I have not received it and it has not been returned to the sender.
USPS will not help me until it is received back in the US, An Post won't help because it is no longer in Ireland and the supplier will not resend or refund until they have the original back so I am in limbo and no-one will help. The package is reasonably valuable and I certainly wouldn't want to lose it.
Can anyone suggest what might have happened to the package or where I could get help ?

Seems strange that, if it was being returned to sender I'd expect there to be a "Return to sender" scan, possibly along with the reason. I'm guessing that it's probably stuck currently in American customs. If there's been no return to sender sticker put on it then USPS might well send it back towards Ireland, on the assumption that it got misrouted

Looks like it never got into the Royal Mails system according to https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/CJ466145338US when it mentions the London Heathrow transit hub, I think that is a facility run by USPS.
