I my parcel was meant to be delivered today 9/9/21 via special delivery but i tracked it and last update was dispatched to Carlisle MC at 22:47 last night?

What town was the parcel being sent to?
Regardless Apologies for the delay. I’m assuming the item has been sent to the wrong MC (mail centre) and may have delayed your item being delivered by it’s guaranteed time. This kind of occurrence is extremely low, about 0.0005% in my office.
Small consolation but the sender can claim back their postage costs.
