Hello.
I've been researching all kinds of tracking updates that I can get on a parcel and I'm overall knowledgeable when an item enters customs etc. However, with my recent parcel (USPS to UK) I've encountered something I've never seen before and have been waiting for a new update or delivery attempt for days until I finally decided to consult this forum.

Royal Mail update on the 7th of August:
Item has left our International Processing Centre. Your item has left our International Logistics Centre and is on its way to you. More information will be available as it travels through the network
Heathrow Worldwide DC, United Kingdom

USPS Update:
Processed through Facility. Your item was processed through a facility in UNITED KINGDOM on August 7, 2021 at 12:42 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

Usually at this stage It would be arriving at my local post office, but it's been stuck on this update until today (13th of August.) Is this a common occurrence that I just haven't experienced yet? Any insight very appreciated if I should be contacting someone about this or just keep patiently waiting 😊

With USPS it's a very common occurrence. They normally scan the item before they pass it to Customs. Unfortunately, the RM system automatically picks this up and posts the other tracking status you posted.

Also recently USPS scans have been very hit and miss, and there have been some very long delays, though it does seem to be decreasing this week.

My best guess is it's in Customs in the UK and just waiting for clearance.
