My Priority Mail International USPS parcel sent from US with destination Switzerland has had the status:
"Your item departed a transfer airport in HEATHROW, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM"
for almost 3 weeks - since June 16, 2021 at 1:50 pm.
I am the recipient, based in Zurich.
I'd be interested to know if such delays can currently be considered normal or when I really need to put pressure on the sender to investigate from US side. Swiss post say they can do nothing until the parcel appears here.
It seems like bad luck that it was directed through the UK as similar parcels that went through Frankfurt or could fly directly to Zurich arrived within days. Oh well!
Thank you in advance for any advice or insights.

Re: International parcel in transit for 3 weeks
The tracking has probably stopped working. International mail generally isn’t meant to pass through a third country, and when that does happen the tracking often stops working between country 2 and country 3, because the system isn’t designed to handle the data.
