Although it is frustrating we haven't had any Comms tonight we may well in the morning.
I don't see this as a reason to leave the union on mass.
In terms of the revisions going in now they should be designed to be achieve the USO.
If they are planned poorly then they should be reassessed in due course. This is the framework that was set out in the agreed statement anyway.
I believe they are doing the best the can in the circumstances while understanding the current financial perils of the company. I know the shareholders dividends payments were non sensical but that ship has sailed unfortunately.
I think the hierarchy have been solid and honest throughout while giving their best.
That's not to say that mistakes haven't happened in the process.

Patience is wearing thin amongst the members including myself. Theres been so many changes from starting times, duties being removed, people being forced onto a duty that's unachievable most days.

The pressure is too much that some are off with mental health issues and all the union can do is nothing apart from back us and we'll deliver the best deal for all. The ship has sailed and the likelihood of the business to revert some of the changes that have already been implemented are zero.

Show me the deal of the century because as far as I can see it's not going to be pretty. We all make mistakes but many guys and girls kept saying at the gates we should be going out for longer, and this was before xmas. Hopefully the union admit the strike action could of been better planned but I doubt it.

It's all beginning to sound like a damp squib. Why can't the CWU put out a statement saying anything, like literally how hard is it to say "thank you for the continued support, negotiations have now completed we will discuss at the PEC tomorrow we hope to update you all shortly".

Quiet quitting is the way forward. I’ve been doing it for over 2 years. We got caught in traffic last week and went over by 5 minutes so I had a 5 minute longer break the next day.
Start on time
Take break
End on time
Work at a comfortable pace.
No rushing.

I couldn’t give a flying F#&k about a deal now. Left the union, don’t get involved in the bitchin in the unit anymore..I’ve quietly quit, I arrive at work on time as I’ve always done, I then tell the Com I might struggle to complete. She normally replies “how do you know that, you’ve just walked through the door” I reply with just giving you as much notice as possible. As requested. I refuse to work overtime, I prioritise tracked as instructed, I do about 40% less steps a day compared to before them removing my duty. If I get a payrise brilliant if I don’t I’ve already budgeted for my current wage.
Life is so much more enjoyable as a quiet quitter

Just a quick question, how do you leave the union? Do you have to phone them up? Or can you do it via email?

Phone HR tell them to stop union payment. Job done. I’d just say my unit rep has been outstanding standing up for us but even he feels let down with no help or direction from above. Always participated in any strike action, never ever crossed a picket line, never ever started before my time but I’ve come to realise with RM standing alone probably getting shafted (without lube) is on the cards. So if I get anything from the deal of the century….. Great…. But I expect nothing and will carry on quietly quitting and enjoying my time off because no matter what hours I’m working it’ll only add up to 37 a week.

It might be worth reminding yourself why you are only working 37 hours per week.

Correct, they didn’t. However they did say they were working towards a settlement of the dispute by 12/3. This understandably ( regardless of the fact it’s a Sunday) leads to an expectation of an announcement by today at the latest. Yes we know if they have brokered something it has to go before the PEC for endorsement but they could have said wheather a deal was likely or not.

They probably expected people to read between the lines. As they haven’t announced strike dates, after announcing the ballot result, it is likely a deal is close. Not saying it will be a good one, but it is what it is.

Pretty dismal show again from the union .They either don't care or more worrying they do not see their members ate completely stressed out with all the upheaval, the uncertainty the constant battles day after day .A very simple message friday say9ng talks ongoing and will do so over the weekend and an announcement will be nade Monday hiw hard would thst be ?instead I bet lots was constantly refreshing thieve pages hoping for something ,anything .

If they tell us this morning to be online at 5 pm for 'the biggest news so far' then announce that talks are continuing I give up.

If a resolution can't be found after this long, it's time to stop fannying around and take some action.

Reminder, it's now the 13th OF MARCH and nothing has happened since last year.

Reading all these comments, seeing how people are fed up with CWU, leads me to think RM wouldn't want a deal right now
