Are you not worried that if we revert back to the pathway to change agreement that the MTSF terms will apply and you have gone on the cheap?!?

I think that ship has well and truly sailed.

Manager spoke to all who applied in early Dec. Notified of potential success a few days later. Seniority applied. Given provisional offer before Xmas, needed to get legal advice on contract (RM pay for this) and return by Dec 30th. Confirmed and notice letter last week. Going late March. Can’t wait, joined eleven years ago. Best job going, ruined by incompetent management.

I believe the MTSF agreement is a separate entity , and nothing to do with the Pathway to Change.

I believe the MTSF agreement is a separate entity , and nothing to do with the Pathway to Change.

No. I was going to go this winter/spring anyway. Deal may not be what it once was, but decent compared to most. My guess is that there will be such a ‘financial crisis’ this spring that RM will do a P&O. Fire and rehire at lower terms, losing about 25k staff in the process.

P&O didn’t do a fire and rehire they just made all their staff redundant and in the end paid out quite a lot of money.

If they tried that trick many wouldn’t resign myself included and it would be a PR disaster for Royal Mail.
