Everyone noticed the PDAS have been updated to have a siso app today?

Hopefully weed out the strange people who think they can (still) start & finish early & choose their own hours! Bravo I say!

From what ive been tols it measures how long youve 'worked' not start/finish times ( ie as long as youve done your contracted hours within that 24hour period then they are happy)

No chance, if anyone really did tell you that shite I hope you didn't actually believe it, so I could turn up when the do opens, sign in then not do anything until my start time an hour later and they'd count that as working !

Well seems as I was told by the regional manager, my Com and the floating Com, I tend to think thats what the plan is. I think in your example they would find work for you to do.

So Tede comes in an hour early, he gets told to stack yorks and trays, sweep the floor and fuel some wagons. He then starts his duty but
according to you can finish when he's done his contracted hours - but there's an hours worth of his duty still to be done....can you
see the flaw in your theory?

Not my Theory, thats what my office has been told, as long as youve covered your hours and agreed with com its all cool.

But if your finish time was 3pm and you came in earlier than you should have to get finished early and your COM agreed to it but then all of a sudden something goes wrong and all of a sudden your COM has work that needs done and you walk in at 1.30pm. He then tries to send you out again because you have over an hour left until your finish time. Your wee agreement wouldn't hold any water. He's only worried about getting his office cleared not some wee deal he made so you can go home early!
