yeah tell the manager,ive had plenty managers suggesting to scan as no access if your gonna be late and then rescan when you get there.
That would be a fairly obvious entry on the audit trail - particularly as it can be shown where the original entry was made - play safe if you're not going to be there on time it's the managers job to make sure it IS on time - though if you're P&L you should break off to deliver it and if you can't finish your delivery - guess whose problem that is?

yeah I hear you,Ive never went along with the 'no access'/'no answer' scam scan which was supposed to work by scanning the special early on in the delivery(not in the office,that would be silly said the DOM :chuckle ) and then trying 'again' later! .My point is that its managers not managing that result in the bad practice and confusion on this issue.
