That would be a fairly obvious entry on the audit trail - particularly as it can be shown where the original entry was made - play safe if you're not going to be there on time it's the managers job to make sure it IS on time - though if you're P&L you should break off to deliver it and if you can't finish your delivery - guess whose problem that is?Danelectro wrote:yeah tell the manager, ive had plenty managers suggesting to scan as no access if your gonna be late and then rescan when you get there.abzyyy wrote: If your office is scanning them in as delivered before you take them out you need to report it to your manger or DSM as all scannable items need to be scanned on the door step.

yeah I hear you,Ive never went along with the 'no access'/'no answer' scam scan which was supposed to work by scanning the special early on in the delivery(not in the office, that would be silly said the DOMdvbuk55 wrote:That would be a fairly obvious entry on the audit trail - particularly as it can be shown where the original entry was made - play safe if you're not going to be there on time it's the managers job to make sure it IS on time - though if you're P&L you should break off to deliver it and if you can't finish your delivery - guess whose problem that is?Danelectro wrote:yeah tell the manager, ive had plenty managers suggesting to scan as no access if your gonna be late and then rescan when you get there.abzyyy wrote: If your office is scanning them in as delivered before you take them out you need to report it to your manger or DSM as all scannable items need to be scanned on the door step.

I can't believe you expect managers to actually manage. For one thing, they're not capable.Danelectro wrote:yeah I hear you,Ive never went along with the 'no access'/'no answer' scam scan which was supposed to work by scanning the special early on in the delivery(not in the office, that would be silly said the DOMdvbuk55 wrote:That would be a fairly obvious entry on the audit trail - particularly as it can be shown where the original entry was made - play safe if you're not going to be there on time it's the managers job to make sure it IS on time - though if you're P&L you should break off to deliver it and if you can't finish your delivery - guess whose problem that is?Danelectro wrote:yeah tell the manager, ive had plenty managers suggesting to scan as no access if your gonna be late and then rescan when you get there.abzyyy wrote: If your office is scanning them in as delivered before you take them out you need to report it to your manger or DSM as all scannable items need to be scanned on the door step.) and then trying 'again' later! .My point is that its managers not managing that result in the bad practice and confusion on this issue.
