Re: What Moya said today
greene told mps recently that RM will be lowering xmas posting prices. That was during the cross parliament select committee hearing in early march i believe - link to it somewhere on here. Discuss and question further it became more of a 'id like to'. More work on plans required she said.

She was careful not to use the phrase 'we WILL reduce stamp prices', only saying it was 'being looked at'.Blue29 wrote:greene told mps recently that RM will be lowering xmas posting prices. Perhaps she should have told the Select Committee that it was RM'S 'overarching objective' to hold prices at Xmas 2011 levels. That would've fooled 'em

Royal Mail's press release yesterday said "Eligible people will be able to buy up to three books of 12 stamps - 36 stamps in total - in one purchase from any of the 11,801 Post Office branches. To receive the stamps at 2011 prices, people will need to provide evidence that they are in receipt of benefits, e.g. the Annual Updating letter or the Award Notice letter from the DWP. Royal Mail will write to every UK household later in the year explaining the scheme and how it works."Blue29 wrote:greene told mps recently that RM will be lowering xmas posting prices. I agree that the company is in a terrible state.. But.... the quote above also highlights the problems of the early (must get finished ) starters. Is this not part of our downfall?boogyman wrote:and not taking breaks and also comung in 30-45 mins early so they could get finished on their time. managers do nothing as this helps them out. WHAT A STATE THIS COMPANY AS GOT INTOP13 wrote:Did she mention anything about the daily bullying, harrasment, and intimadation being carried out by her managers?, and she said there was no going back on CDV's does she know her managers are splitting up pairings in shared vans and telling staff not to bother with the trollies.
I despair

i agree with you sad posties who go in early, managment should'nt allow this to happen though. i thought they wanted you to work the hours your paid for, these idiots are getting back to office early so managment should make them go out with mail left in by other posties pherhaps this may stop them.hampshireman wrote:I agree that the company is in a terrible state.. If Georoute says Johns round takes 5 hours and he can do it in 4:40 whereas Jims round should take 5 hours yet he takes 5:20. Should John take 20 mins of Jims delivery? Discuss.

No, because they'll both be out for six hours plus in the real worldIf Georoute says Johns round takes 5 hours and he can do it in 4:40 whereas Jims round should take 5 hours yet he takes 5:20. Should John take 20 mins of Jims delivery? Discuss.

Re: What Moya said today
Random you really should not post when you have been drinking ! You also need to read what I posted it was a report what Moya Greene said now it was not my opinion but it was for information for people on here.
You must be thinking your really tough and clever slagging off Dave Ward on a site which he never reads or looks at Fact ! Why don't you write to him making your points clear and where others have done that he normally comes to the office and has a chat with them.
As for me , you really are a scary person that you can shout and slag me and Dave, off . Why don't you PM me and we can have a chat without others viewing.
You maybe ami union for lots of reasons and clearly your comments are not factual on some issues but after your rant I really cannot be bothered to correct you.

No drink here brother I cant afford it with the pay cuts we keep getting! Still if the thought makes you happy? D Ward could do a lot worse than come on here then he might find out a few home truths because my thoughts are mild compared to some. Still as I am so wrong and your here can you look at my the post and tell me what I was so wrong about it instead of just writing a bunch of words that mean nothing? PMSL!

No he is not. He likes the 121 job so he can bully and intimidate his members to shut them up! He did not want to come to our office and I will lay money he and his fellow parasites won’t ask the membership how well they at HQ are doing? Why do you think they don’t come on RMC? SCARED would be the answer! They have their bitches here that want to make more of a living from us for that! :-(

Re: What Moya said today
Radom lets look at some facts , in late 2008 Royal Mail said that they would no longer pay for change and that there new business plan which included CDVs , Door to door into work load , geo route , walk sequencing , the one pass plan , closing mail centres RDCs. They were not going to pay for change.
The CWU then agreed that no revisons would be agreed at Local Level. Some offices kept this policy some did not. As a result of executive action by Royal Mail parts of Scotland , the whole of London and lots of other areas took strike action some from as early as March. At its height over 400 offices were taking strike action about the same number as delivery method revisons.
Finally the CWU ballot nationally and two national strike days were taken. Talks On an interim solution were almost in place until the news night exposure of Royal Mail's tactics , after that strike an interim agreement was reached on 5th November. Some of us had been out on 20 days of strikes over 4 months.
The national agreement was never going to stop the new workplan , the new one pass plan which makes it easier to close mail centres , stop sequencing mail , stop Royal Mail putting Door to Door into workload , introducing CDVs , and improving Productivity.
The CWU got the package including moving some colleague share money into the revisons and would have moved all of the colleague share money into the revison process had legal advice allowed it. Got a payment for Door to Door going forward that would increase in future years , agreed a 6 step process which has stalled Royal Mail in the amount of revisons they wanted to introduce. Now what would you have done differently please tell me ?
Now in terms of the pension issue , the final salary is now protected for all service past 2008 , you have a similar thing to a crown guarantee on your pension now and some of the assets have been set aside for the future pension , now of course in the future we might have to fight for our future pensions but if we had not got a resolution then our pensions would have been in serious trouble.
Now I would have responded more but your post was deleted. I think it's quite funny that people on here want to continue to hide their identity but then wants to shout...POSTMAN EDIT
