My claim to fame (well, one of them anyway) was that I broke the news on the site because a certain someone told me on the phone that the agreement had just been ratified by the PEC.

That was a fun couple of days afterwards.
Please can you post a link to the new pay deal regarding loss of d2d/ delivery supplement.
We’re not losing it - they’re on about when d2d payment stopped and delivery supplement came in

Thanks, i was bit confused.

Yeah my lesser claim to fame.. I was young and naive when I stared at Royal Mail 19 years ago or so. A fella said if you don’t want to do them rip the label off the box (that said they were mine) and kick them
Under the frame onto the other side to someone else’s frame. I honestly thought it was an option and wasn’t worried. This guy was signing for them and others but not doing them and claiming the money. He was eventually fired and I believe he featured in the courier magazine for naughty postman of the month thing they did.

A few at ours have been sacked over the years for not doing them :wave

I bet that hasn't happened for many years though. Wilful delay is basically an un-sackable offence at RM now. :wave
