Not in the union yet, seeing the Rep on Monday morning. Still glad to have been on strike...

By the way at my office there were no strike breakers. That itself makes the atmosphere of the office great to work in. :dance

Lucky MartinMail then...no sc**s in your office. We have already had the warning, via our union rep, that any remarks made towards employees who worked during the IA will be subject to the conduct code.... TALK TO THEM GAFFER???? MOST OF US DON'T EVEN WANT TO GO WITHIN SIX FEET OF THE SC***Y B******S. It is already quite obvious that a few of them are most uncomfortable... GOOD. LETS HOPE YOU SUFFER EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY WORKING DAY!!!

That's called Solidarity son. There's no other feeling quite like it. No scab or manager could experience the feeling of standing together against the class enemy.

Cheers for the mention.

The battle still has a way to go.

My office is still out on unofficial I/A and we aren't being allowed unless we agree to new terms.
These new terms are bad with a capital B they include

Being moved from any walk at any time. Walks that are uncovered will be thown in by members of staff without O/T.
Basically you can be taken off your walk told to throw in another walk (no overtime) then back to yours. Nobody can leave the office until all walks are trown in.

He also has the right to force me to go over my time and i will be paid O/T. This will be at his discretion and if god forbid I have to pick up my children and am unable to do so. It will be deemed that I have taken action against him and will be punished by placing me in whatever role he deems appropriate and classed as a form of I/A. It's a shame becuase the managers in our office aren't that bad it seems that the higher you go the worse you become.

There is a meeting on Monday with the CWU area rep and hopefully this will be kicked into touch.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that's why it's so important that we stick together.

That's the reason why we are winning because we have all done our bit. Work To Rule / I/A U I/A it all adds up.

Have a great weekend

No a bit about this issue, doesn't it involve a member who started to do the job properly, and has been victimised for doing so?

Im proud to have stood with the majority of my colleagues on the picket over the last 5 months :Applause

Another branch of a local union(unison) donated £40 to our picket line, do you think it would be a good idea to change it into 30 pieces of silver to leave on all the scabby frames?

No, you would insult our brothers and sisters in Unison if you did that. Far better to ignore the scum completely.
