There was supposed to be 21 of us in today. Normally it is less, around 15 or so.Londonsburning wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 17:32How many people does your DO have on Sunday delivery?Smoothbackground wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 16:09Massive volumes at ours today - over 2300 parcels. We failed over 250 items, mainly Amazon boxes, as we had to prioritise the flowers and Mother’s Day stuff.

Saturday I’d say most of the rounds had only a 1/4 of the mail delivered to prioritise tracked and Mother’s Day cards. Saw some figures a manager had written down of the mail not delivered and it way way off. Not sure if I should care about it or what difference it makes.
Was something like recording 120 calls were not completed on a round when it’s more like 400..

The big problem with this deliberate manipulation of reporting of figures is that the Com downplays the actual amount of failures in his figures to the OPL. The OPL then knocks the amount own even further to the ROD. The ROD in turn cuts the amount of failures down even further & so on until the bloke at the top gets a final report that states that the whole business is running clear.postmanzach wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 20:33Saturday I’d say most of the rounds had only a 1/4 of the mail delivered to prioritise tracked and Mother’s Day cards. This is borne out on the office delivery failures that shows on this site & is available to members of the public via the RM website. How often do we hear posties shouting how come their office isn’t showing as it’s been failing regularly. The fact is that all the way up the chain the figures are severely under reported.

The figure manipulation and blatant lies do nothing but make the job harder and harder for everyone involved. The lies lead to more and more hours being cut, the management move on and the next one does the same. Then eventually the office is impossible manage with the overly cut resources and over sized duties. There's obviously some serious corruption going on but maybe it all suits the agenda of wrecking the service to cut the USO and then make further wage savings.GRS wrote: ↑30 Mar 2025, 21:01The big problem with this deliberate manipulation of reporting of figures is that the Com downplays the actual amount of failures in his figures to the OPL.
