Exactly. They have no idea. Even our manager said mail centre employees should spend a week a year on delivery to see how it is.

Every duty below 'management' is classed as an OPG, so hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later.

As I recall, the majority of collections drivers don't start till after midday.

Very few small vans used in MCs these days. Near enough the smallest vans used in MCs now are sprinters and with the axing of most of the Skynet runs potentially coming up, the sprinters could well get axed as well. Any vans would need to be back at the MC by about midday. DOs might not be able to borrow MC vans and vice versa these days as there's probably no budget for doing so. Don't know about DOs but budget has generally come first for a good few years now in MCs
