RM would have to provide transport as MC staff wouldn't be able to drive to a DO as it wouldn't be their usual place of work (car insurance)mwalker88 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2023, 20:26Every duty below 'management' is classed as an OPG, so hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later.![]()

Plenty of spare vans at MCs during the day. We used to regularly have to borrow them when i was a postie.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑24 Dec 2023, 20:51RM would have to provide transport as MC staff wouldn't be able to drive to a DO as it wouldn't be their usual place of work (car insurance)mwalker88 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2023, 20:26Every duty below 'management' is classed as an OPG, so hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later.![]()
As I recall, the majority of collections drivers don't start till after midday.

Very few small vans used in MCs these days. Near enough the smallest vans used in MCs now are sprinters and with the axing of most of the Skynet runs potentially coming up, the sprinters could well get axed as well. Any vans would need to be back at the MC by about midday. DOs might not be able to borrow MC vans and vice versa these days as there's probably no budget for doing so. Don't know about DOs but budget has generally come first for a good few years now in MCsmwalker88 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2023, 20:58Plenty of spare vans at MCs during the day. I genuinely don't care pal. When I was a delivery postie, we used to regularly borrow MC vans when it was busy. End of story

Really? They did last summer.
Hopefully they'll be borrowing OPGs soon too.

Well then, I'm calling bullshit on your claim that DOs borrowed vans from MCs during the summer. You don't work for RM anymore so it doesn't matter where you used to work.mwalker88 wrote: ↑24 Dec 2023, 23:19Lol. You really expect me to tell RMchat where i used to work? Haha![]()
