Simon Thompson and Dave Ward are going to go live at 5.30pm holding hands and smiling. Thompson will apologise for the past year of his nonsense. They will both set off fireworks and announce no changes will happen and everything will be reversed. There will be a 50% pay rise for all posties. Everyone will get a brand new electric van that will be washed everyday by a male or female model of your choice in a bikini or shorts as you enter the yard from your round. After your days work you will have free access to an on-site spa with masseuses, swimming pool, jacuzzi and stream room so you can recover from your 10 mile+ walk.

If only Carlsberg did updates ! :dance

I am not sure why people are saying a deal will be announced :hmmmm from what I gather this is purely regards EA and Rep suspensions THEN you talk about a deal surely?
As usual these “big updates” only affect a select few I’d like to be proved wrong and maybe we will get a big update because to be honest nothing has moved on since august in my eyes
Tens of thousands have been affected by EA, suspensions etc in the past few months.
The EA isn’t going to be walked back so how does that effect 10s of thousands? What it looks like to me is this movement is only to have reps reinstated and in my experience (20+ years) I’ve yet to see any of mine do little more than nothing. if this is as far as 18 days has gotten us……….

Don’t get too excited, it won’t be anything any good. We will still have massive workloads and morale at rock bottom. Stay strong. Solidarity. :Very Happy

I think they will announce that going forward the revisions will have CWU involvement ( so not executive action ) but due to the 'dire financial picture of the company' they believe there is a need for revisions to take place

The union has only had a gripe with unagreed revisions after all - not revisions full stop.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

All well and good but we all know these revisions have been a car crash pure and simple.

Hopefully it’s an 8% or 9% pay deal with quite a few strings attached but not as many as there were….
Soap in the toilets would do it for me.

We don't need revisions, we could just do with managers doing some work instead of telling us to do work. Line managers just wander around in the morning doing nothing. Posties can manage themselves.... give the managers some sorting to do.

Look most of them are failed postmen/women who looked for any excuse not to work so good luck on that one.

It will be a lacklustre update with little progress because RM would of issued something positive before hand
