Most of the time dependant stuff could end up being dealt with by the super duper hubs.

According to Google there's 1,400 DOs in the UK. If you split that between the 3 hubs then that's a minimum of 467 selections their machines will need and that's not counting where DOs get splits. I can't see their machines being able to handle that many selectionsWoody Guthrie wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 19:27Most of the time dependant stuff could end up being dealt with by the super duper hubs.

If that does happen then we might well see ALL MCs and ALL DOs closed as RM could have a few sorting hubs set up where absolutely everything is sequenced, making both MCs and DOs redundant. Delivery staff would pick up the mail somewhere and spend their whole shift out delivering.Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 14:18If the bulk of the mail streams lose any time specific requirements what's still to be processed come final dispatch simply becomes tomorrow's mail, in theory then you could manipulate that final dispatch in any way you wanted.

Will not most of the items going through The Two possibly Three Super Hubs be delivered by the 300 - 400 LAT OfficesSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 19:43According to Google there's 1,400 DOs in the UK. Will the LAT offices be able to handle 10,000+ Tracked items alone each?wallan wrote: ↑17 Jun 2021, 07:42Will not most of the items going through The Two possibly Three Super Hubs be delivered by the 300 - 400 LAT OfficesSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 19:43According to Google there's 1,400 DOs in the UK. Is / Was it not the plan that Items of Shoe Box size or over would go from the Outward MC to a Hub then back to the Inward MC for despatch to an LAT Office for deliverySpacePhoenix wrote: ↑17 Jun 2021, 08:03Will the LAT offices be able to handle 10,000+ Tracked items alone each?wallan wrote: ↑17 Jun 2021, 07:42Will not most of the items going through The Two possibly Three Super Hubs be delivered by the 300 - 400 LAT OfficesSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 19:43According to Google there's 1,400 DOs in the UK. They'd need to greatly improve the segging of packets all round, everywhere. We often get sleeves with a mix of large and small both Tracked and normal. The same for the yorks which are meant to be just large. We even get the odd SD thrown inwallan wrote: ↑17 Jun 2021, 08:17Is / Was it not the plan that Items of Shoe Box size or over would go from the Outward MC to a Hub then back to the Inward MC for despatch to an LAT Office for deliverySpacePhoenix wrote: ↑17 Jun 2021, 08:03Will the LAT offices be able to handle 10,000+ Tracked items alone each?wallan wrote: ↑17 Jun 2021, 07:42Will not most of the items going through The Two possibly Three Super Hubs be delivered by the 300 - 400 LAT OfficesSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 19:43According to Google there's 1,400 DOs in the UK.
