According to Google there's 1,400 DOs in the UK. If you split that between the 3 hubs then that's a minimum of 467 selections their machines will need and that's not counting where DOs get splits. I can't see their machines being able to handle that many selections

If the bulk of the mail streams lose any time specific requirements what's still to be processed come final dispatch simply becomes tomorrow's mail, in theory then you could manipulate that final dispatch in any way you wanted.

If that does happen then we might well see ALL MCs and ALL DOs closed as RM could have a few sorting hubs set up where absolutely everything is sequenced, making both MCs and DOs redundant. Delivery staff would pick up the mail somewhere and spend their whole shift out delivering.

They'd need to greatly improve the segging of packets all round, everywhere. We often get sleeves with a mix of large and small both Tracked and normal. The same for the yorks which are meant to be just large. We even get the odd SD thrown in
