No i will no be standing for election. their are many above me who hold value's the same as me who could do a far better job of it!. But i am posting to get postmen/postwomen to understand the true fact that royalmail is not under attack from competition but from not these two :cfo & :lfo but from our very own government and who is in charge of this government GORDON BROWN FOR IT IS HE WHO UNDER TONY BLAIR AND HIS GOVENRMENT INTRODUCED THE LIBRAISATION OF POSTAL MARKETS WHICH STARTED THIS WHOLE FIASCO!.linkinpark wrote:BLOODY HELL, are you standing for election? Please i hope so!k979aaa wrote:They royalfail are trying to take us apart piece by piece!. LET US HAVE DIGNITY AND FIGHT TO THE BITTER END THIS TIME!.REMEMBER IT IT IS NOT FOR YOU OR I IT'S FOR YOUR CHILDERN AS WELL! FOR THE CAPITALIST'S WILL STILL COME AFTER THEM AND NOW IS OUR IS OUR TIME TO STRIKE!.

not sure if one day strikes over this will achieve anything..k979aaa wrote:No you can retire but at reduced term's ie maybe lose 25% if you go early and this is why we must fight this now!. MARK MY WORD'S WE WILL BE ON STRIKE SOON!.kwikpost wrote:am i reading this letter right. none of us can retire at 60 or have our pension at 60. we all have to go the hole hog till 65.dvbuk55 wrote:Strangely enough I have received a document today signed by the two muppets which falls far short of the the posting by Lovejoy. A very much watered down version.![]()
and lets face the real fact here if they do want people to carry on working past 60 then in the delivery offices they will probably have to have some sort of light duty scheme for them..

I don't think there is going to be any great support for a strike - you have too many with diverse futures for there to be any cohesive action and of course the leadership haven't got the bottle even if the membership had the will.k979aaa wrote:Too my own thinking a one day strike is a boon for royalfail the only way this time is all out indefinitely first time and this approach should be continued till the end!.FOR THIS IS FOR YOUR FUTURE AND YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE REMEMBER RIGHT'S WERE NOT GIVEN TO US BUT WERE FOUGHT FOR BY OUR ANCESTOR'S!.
