No i will no be standing for election. their are many above me who hold value's the same as me who could do a far better job of it!. But i am posting to get postmen/postwomen to understand the true fact that royalmail is not under attack from competition but from not these two :cfo & :lfo but from our very own government and who is in charge of this government GORDON BROWN FOR IT IS HE WHO UNDER TONY BLAIR AND HIS GOVENRMENT INTRODUCED THE LIBRAISATION OF POSTAL MARKETS WHICH STARTED THIS WHOLE FIASCO!.

No you can retire but at reduced term's ie maybe lose 25% if you go early and this is why we must fight this now!. MARK MY WORD'S WE WILL BE ON STRIKE SOON!.
not sure if one day strikes over this will achieve anything..
and lets face the real fact here if they do want people to carry on working past 60 then in the delivery offices they will probably have to have some sort of light duty scheme for them..

I don't think there is going to be any great support for a strike - you have too many with diverse futures for there to be any cohesive action and of course the leadership haven't got the bottle even if the membership had the will.
