the bad faith is classed as gross misconduct meaning a P45 , anything vague , obscure , anything that can be twisted round - on it's head sometimes ? will be used , all to teach someone a lesson .disgruntledpostie1 wrote:You must be over here in NI, no branch just managers running roughshod over the staff.niallm wrote:osiris. dont know if you are being sarcastic or not but in our mc the only people who are being "disciplined" are front line staff. every time a complaint is made against a manager they close ranks, and the member making the complaint is either poopooedor they have a threat made against them that any unsubstantiated claims will be dealt with as bad faith and therefore subject to the conduct code. ps maybe you are a manager or a wannebe
There is a fear culture and union bashing element especially with the pettiness and overzealousness- there was a motion at conference that dubious charges tended to be leveled at reps and activists and the "process " was corrupt , problem was that RM had too many complaints made against it's managers , it was embrassing - RM don't go against their own so staff had to be "discouraged " .
The other problem was that after the horrible cases at Birmingham & Harlow - RM was threatened with investigation by the EOC & CRE , to avoid this , RM promised to put their own house in order with the usual panic and hysterical kneejerk mode .
All this DRAW stuff sounds like a Corporate / very USA way of replacing or sidelining the union , all that b*ll**ks in The Courier - " We can't possibly understand why half ?
All eyewash to impress naive , gullible middle class people with no common sense or proportion ? :lfo :cfo , hypocritical b***ocks .
