Good question Jesus, one I've asked before but without result. My theory is they are trying to bamboozle the punters into thinking it's £300 new money when in fact it's £100 and £200 being the original Christmas bonus agreed last year otherwise I'm sure they would be spouting £500. The union should be clarifying things like that but they seem reluctant to engage RM at all...........even the bus has been parked in the terminus.

From what i can make out from our office,i rekon half the 130ish workforce are going in again anyway. This news will probably push a lot more to break the strike! Not looking forward to manning the picket line (if there's enough people) when the majority of the office will work.

This woman Is clever ! I did post on here after so many said they would refuse there shares that I would be surprised if it went above 1% of workforce about 1500 people . They say 100 which does show how people can be turned by cash. I think the union better start thinking about there position very quickly as this is going to weaken them in the short and long term. Remember she is offering over £40,000,000 to employees. Be interesting when they give out their figures on what's paid out or how many go into work.

It could turn out to be a very cheap £300.00 when their shown the door in three years.

Me personally, I will ensure that any member who chooses to work and take the £300 will not ever be represented by me ever again, and I hope the CWU has the balls to expel these people. They do not deserve the title "union member"

They make executive calls and pay the employee who has a contract with Royal Mail not the union. Remember in the past they have paid payrises before the union have agreed a deal. If the union still fight and agree more they would then pay the extra

75,000 go on strike = £22,500,000

115,000 in RM pay subs lets say £3.23 a week (no political fund as it can't be used) = £19,315,400.

So even the annual subs if everyone was full time would not cover it..


Good idea to negate the propaganda - pity it would bust the CWU in the process.
