i was just browsing the customer section and am glad to come across this. as a postie im finding this is happening more regularly, ive got customers who would get mail every day and all of a sudden the pattern is nothing for three four days then wham a weeks worth at once, it used to be the odd customer but there are more and more plus ive had people ask why all of a sudden as this start to happen any one have a clue as i dont apart from practicing for a three day week.

I haven't received post for 6 days now!!!! I ordered a number of presents online paying extra for 1st class delivery I contacted all sellers who have sent me proof of postage! I called Royal Mail they said there are no disruptions in my area and delays could take up to 7 days!!! Even though they don't have any information on the delays!
