I'm not one to blindly spout venom at ST just because he's been the person in charge through all this, but I think it's becoming clearer by the day he's massively underestimated the resolve of the CWU and his strategy of not backing down is just digging him a bigger hole.

It should never have but I think it has dawned on him that there will be no victory for anyone in this battle.
As to back pay I would rather have 1% more going forward than the Back pay as it will enhance our pensions and will go forward forever more on our wages.
