Re: Lump sum
Wow. £192 isn’t £200.
Then after deductions I’m only getting £130ish more than a normal week. Thank you RM. That’s not even going to cover half a months electric in the winter.

I have been given £228.17 .
Probably because I have taken my pension.
Pay slip says lumpsum(npen)

Re: Lump sum
It's not arrears of normal pay. It's a gesture from the business to help us out until they can calculate the arrears correctly.
I believe the payrise will come into effect in September so your actual wage will not increase until then.
When the correct amount of arrears is calculated this will be pensionable. They will pay your arrears in full and redeem the lump sum.

Re: Lump sum
Arfing at gesture, the bloody generous buggers, not. Technicalities aside, its arrears of pay no matter how you want to dress it up.

Could of waited one week and the threshold of the NIC's would have risen from £9880 to £12570 so do you now think we are being shafted?aiden01 wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 23:13How else can they pay it without tax an ni???k979aaa wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 22:53Just donated my back pay to the chancellor of the exchequer as I felt sorry for him Through NIC'S National Insurance Contributions NICE ONE RM tax deductible back pay for the government! Re: Lump sum
Is anyone else not believing this ‘the back pay calculations will take 3 months’ bull? I disagree completely with an imposed pay settlement, but as long as I’ve been in RM, they’ve never once deviated from implementing the increase to basic pay, allowances etc in the first week and then all the arrears the week after. Why isn’t it possible this time around ??
