A statement saying what? Talks were held, Thompson just blanking us, no movement forward, strikes on. That's it.

As mentioned before "This Isn't Twitter" CWU made a statement saying they'd had a meeting, the Strikes were still going ahead for Friday & Saturday .... What else do you want?

I support the union but they do seem to find it hard to make a deal

Cleaners
Engineers
Fleet
Post office counters
All on strike and no deals made or even close to one

And like it or not, the train strikes are a far greater deal to the general public than ours

Probably leaked to the Tory/Times, because they know they'll give those Horrible Working Class Union Trouble Makers a good kicking!

Who would you rather get your information from? The people that are fighting for your T & Cs or the Times?

I take it you're in Processing? We may very well be 8-10% down on Parcel Traffic and maybe you'd notice that more. However come and visit a Delivery Office .... we're not sat around scratching for work .... we've got plenty and go over most days.

Royal Rail just don't like to admit that there's still quite a bit of work about that's not parcels! It doesn't suit their mantra that, "We're not a Mail Delivery Service ... We're a Parcel Delivery Service that delivers Mail as well"
