Post by Stormproof »

Has anyone got PO Broadband & Phone? Is it any good? Getting p'd off with BT and was thinking of signing up for the PO one.

The only trouble I had, was when I was given a start date 4 days early!!

It resulted in me unplugging Virgin, and trying to figure out what was wrong. Couldn't get through to customer services on the day, so gave up and tried the next day. I was told that my service wasn't live yet, despite the letter giving me the date.

Anyway, I plugged back Virgin, and waited for the proper date, and it's simple plug in and go. Never had any problems since.

The thing that swings it, is the fact that there's 3 months free broadband for signing up as well, so well worth it.

Try this mate. Just tell them your moving abroad for few years and you want to end contract. They have to cancel it even if it was a month old. You still will have to pay for last month though unless you bump them.

This also works for Sky or cable

I still use BT for my basic line, every thing else is either Tiscali or VOIP.
