Angard update
Dear colleague – we are expecting large volumes of work this Friday and Saturday across the Royal Mail network. As a result we are pleased to confirm that all worked hours that are less than 8 hours this Friday and Saturday will be increased to 8 hours paid working time per day. For all pre-AWR workers completing 8 hour shifts with breaks your pay will also be rounded up to 8 hours paid working time.
Where we apply working time increases these will be processed in the following week’s payroll and paid to you as a pay adjustment on Friday 14 October.

Delivery Office Opportunities
Dear Colleague,
This Friday and Saturday (30/9 & 1/10) there is an opportunity for you to work at a Delivery Office close to the Mail Centre you normally work in. These shifts will be 10am-6pm on both days and be paid at the following hourly rates:
National £13.37
Outer London £15.71
London £16.58
For these shifts only, you will report to work at your normal Mail Centre and will then be transported to the Delivery Office and back again at the end of the shift. There may be opportunities to continue to work at the Delivery Office, but please only accept assignments from Angard to ensure you are paid correctly.

Whilst this is the fault of the government in passing their shameful anti-trade union and anti-strike legislation, I’d suggest that the deeper we go into this dispute, the more difficult life may be made for people(agency or not) to wilfully cross picket lines.

Our office which is 300 ÷ staff was expecting 33 agency staff at 0800hrs. Only 4 turned up and they were about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Yes they own it. They have been sneaky and sent regular mc ones to other areas too.
