Re: Quiet Quitting
Many in our unit 'quiet quit' a few months into the pandemic when it became clear just how much they were getting taken for fools.

Re: Quiet Quitting
Everyone does this now.
No one really cares anymore. It’s all gone out the window.
I’m not sure if morale could ever be improved back to pre-pandemic levels, not like that was a particularly high bar by the way, but in comparison to this… shows how far things have fallen.
Sad times.

Re: Quiet Quitting
Quiet quitting a phrase created to give the impression that it is the worker that is the problem. Rather than the employer is failing it their duty of care and wellbeing of its workers.

Re: Quiet Quitting
The examples I've read about of ''quiet quitting'' more referred to people going in to work and doing literally next to nothing whilst there rather than just the work to rule that some on here are describing it as.
There seems to be plenty of jobs out there where people can get away with doing virtually no work at all during their working day, but being a postie definitely isn't one of them.
Taking your breaks and refusing to do 20 mins overtime seems like a very tame and timid version of quiet quitting to me.
