Sorting competitors mail on IPS.

Post by councillor »

I thought TNT, UKMails, etc were all to be delivered to our offices in walksorted in bundles, final mile and all that. At my office we spend most of our time on IPS sorting it. Please explain anybody who knows.

Royal Mail pipe dreams, always the same result, an utter balls-up.

The percentage of work/time spent by RM processing and delivering DSA far outweighs the percentage of payment received. It's more like the final 100 miles...

With regards to competitors mail, how come on the majority of items, especially Amazon packets, there is no "delivered by Royal Mail" information.

first problem is Revenue Protection have to check whether it's paid for , so it's held back , then put back in with priority over everything else .
It's not very geared and Our Idiotic New Way of Working doesn't work , so there's the mandatory mass failures and panic .

Sorting it properly is another matter all together , ship it out is the usual "solution".
