So are you going to pay yourselves for charging your RM vans up at home?

I can't see RM getting bogged down in all the administration involved in having to pay you for just the electric used to charge a van overnight, installation of chargers etc; particularly when it probably won't need charging every night; more like you will either take a diesel van home or none at all.

Given how long they keep vans for, there will be pink diesel and petrol vans at DO's for years to come :Very Happy

* Van retention also stopped at my office but not sure whether it applied to the strike breakers... Not my problem!
What I understand from when I cross paths with lads from neighbouring office, strikebreakers can take vans home even if they didn't before under van retention agreement. Notice was given day before first strike and until further notice, unless of course you cross picket line.

Van retentions were stopped on strike days. After the first strike they said we can take them home. They were double parked in the yard leaving no space for the mail trucks to come in.

We told to not take this mick driving to work in a RM van for picket duty
