Re: Major disruption
All the usual full time overtime wallers are loving these single day strike. They were all in early this morning helping clear the backlog and staying over to clear the parcels after they’d cleared their round. So pretty much caught up in our office now. Ready for the hit for the weekend which I’m sure will be mopped up by the overtime wallers and people working their days off to claw back the strike day money. I’m supporting the four days of strike but if there are any more single days I think I’ll be going in as I can’t afford to loose any more money and have the overtime wallers make it seem like there hasn’t even been a strike. My wife and I are already on rations and minimum shopping so I’ll be looking after us first. Just like the overtime wallers are looking after themselves.

Good to get acclimatised because if RM get their way you will be on rations and minimum shopping for the rest of your RM career.Numberone63 wrote: ↑01 Sep 2022, 15:58All the usual full time overtime wallers are loving these single day strike. Re: Major disruption
Well I presume your going to work to make money to support a wife/partner and children or maybe you have a boyfriend/civil partner and you have fostered children. So I'd say spend time with them instead of work work work,in my opinion that's why Sundays are a tough one to give up as we are all off together.p.s I have wife n 2 kids and I'm week to week BUT il get by on the bare minimum if I have to I still have pride and self respect..

Re: Major disruption
Thats all ive tried to do since she moved in with me after my dad died and all ive tried to nudge people on here to realising that at the moment any job even ones with terms that are worse than previously are is still worth having. No point trying to break the thing that pays you.postieblueshirt wrote: ↑01 Sep 2022, 18:46well good luck to you make your mam proud..or take her out every sunday spend some time with her.2yearpostie wrote: ↑01 Sep 2022, 18:41No only my mam to look after, im single otherwise, Quite happy to stay working and put the £££ in my bank for old age.postieblueshirt wrote: ↑01 Sep 2022, 18:21Well I presume your going to work to make money to support a wife/partner and children or maybe you have a boyfriend/civil partner and you have fostered children. So I'd say spend time with them instead of work work work,in my opinion that's why Sundays are a tough one to give up as we are all off together.p.s I have wife n 2 kids and I'm week to week BUT il get by on the bare minimum if I have to I still have pride and self respect..
