Think I''ve probably pushed the attendance procedure too far now, had a really sh@t year health wise. Carpel Tunnel Syndrome op in March (31 days off), Food poisoning, June (3 days), Feeling really ill resulting in Blood Transfusion, September (34 days), Hospital Tests/Operation, December (20 days). Not sure whether to jump before I'm pushed. :hmmmm :hmmmm
Would one still be able to go down the ill health early retairment proccess at stage 2 or 3. :hmmmm

Went to the interview, got told that my abscences were extreme and how much I have cost RM down the last pence. Finally was told that the Stage 3 would'nt be issued and a Stage 2 would be re-issued.
Thanks again everyone for your support :Applause :Applause

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

A bitter sweet experience I guess. Well done.

It would be an interesting exercise to calculate how much incompetent managers have cost RM down to the last penny. A 'kin lot more than your 22 days absence.

It is good too hear good news for you and all the best to you and good health. I would have thought you would have your union rep in with you with that result and he must be a good one at that. But to cap it all it must be an enormous relief to you. :Very Happy :Applause :dance
