Yes I have. I know I'm going to get the you've opnly been there two minutes you know f*** all malarky but if your going to be like that with them, eg NO COMMENT surely people must wonder why DOM's 'pick' on them or get on better with other people. It's common sense. Again I don't know the individual person or the situation and forgive me if it is actually like living in a police station.
So you didn't bother to read my reply.

Oh well. :whistle

You must of replied as I was replying to Postman but didn't realise.

I'm just thinking why would you say no comment though, as soon as he told the other managers that they'd all laugh in your face.

Some people jus't understand the think before you speak scenario.

I'm not getting into an argument it was entriley an opinion of I what I thought of him if he did do that.

If you don't make a comment, then there is no comment to be twisted or used against you.

Why would i be bothered about a manager laughing at me? If that gives them a little stiffy, so be it.

What bothers me is the fact that i have now been given an official warning by my line manager because of the lies told by my DOM, however i'm dealing with that through the proper channels.

Think before you speak? Very good advice, but what's the purpose of speaking to someone (my DOM), whom you know for the last 11 years, has never listened or taken onboard anything said to him by his 150 staff?

It's all just a paper exercise for RM. They can then turn round to Postcomm or the government and say "we talked to all our staff, personally, while we made changes to their working environment". If you already know that they will ignore anything you say or twist to their own advantage, why would you waste your breath talking to them?
