THE Royal Mail intends to close one of its rural letter delivery offices, putting a question mark over the jobs of workers employed there.
An AM yesterday blasted the plan to shut the office at Llanrwst which will require all local postman having to work from Llandudno, 15 miles away.
It will also mean Conwy Valley residents having to travel there to collect undelivered parcels.
A Royal Mail spokesman said last night that the company had to look at ways to cut costs and improve efficiency and would involve staff in discussions over the future of the Llanrwst office.

" as a commercial business" there in lies the problem, to this government and the greedy parasites that run this company we are officially no longer a public service. New Liebour your a discrace!!! Why do we still fund this neo-liberal knob heads? And while were at it can anybody tell me of a service thats improved or got better when put into private hands? just look at your energy and water bills!!!
